Can you give us an artist statement for the series you will be showcasing in March for Snapped at Spectra Art Space?
“Time To fly is an expression of personal growth, especially during discovery of days gone by, and one’s evolution into the future. In the end, time is what we make of it. Each piece has its own intention and symbology, and is then enhanced with projected augmented reality by Alexander, the final outcome a fusion of the real and surreal.“

Tell us about the process for the series?
“All pieces are created using original photos Asia Be has taken at various places and times. She then manipulates the photos using several layering techniques while adding additional artistic elements. Each piece has its own intention and symbology, and is then enhanced with projected augmented reality by Alexander, the final outcome a fusion of the real and surreal.”
Asia and Alexander Be of Just Dream The Artists:
Just Dream is a creative consultation concept that was imagined, developed and brought to life by husband and wife team Asia + Alexander Brooks.
With nearly 20 yrs combined experience in multiple areas of event organization, creative design and development, professional audio, photography and dance, the pair is extremely familiar with bringing several concepts from the dream phase into reality, maturing ideas from fledgling possibilities into tangible existence. They have built a trusted team around them, allowing further exploration of design engineering and creative build abilities, while also possessing a large network of colleagues that can be added for any project depending upon requirements.
Just Dream was devised with an understanding and hope to bring multiple personal interests to a singularity, and as such, allow its creators to explore the evolution of many types of projects large and small.
