Official Press Release:

Yeah Baby, Colorado’s first biodynamic gin palace, art gallery and disco club is opening this Thursday, September 27 in Denver’s RiNo Arts District. Yeah Baby offers a unique, full-sensory experience beyond craft cocktails. Poised to become RiNo’s new epicenter for dance, gratitude for the arts and thoughtful world-class spirits, Yeah Baby’s wide-range of eclectic cocktails feature award-winning CapRock® Spirits.

CapRock Gin, Vodka & Brandies are fermented and distilled in a Bavarian-made copper pot still on Jack Rabbit Hill Farm in Hotchkiss, Colorado. All products are certified organic and some are certified biodynamic. Biodynamic farming is an organic farming method that taps into Mother Nature’s way instead of using expensive inputs and factory-made fertilizers and pesticides.

“This is a really exciting next step for CapRock and Jack Rabbit Hill Farm, and I’m really excited to bring Colorado such a super fun and creative project.” said Lance Hanson, master distiller and founder of Jack Rabbit Hill Farm, makers of Caprock. “We take a lot of pride in what we do, and the passion and creativity that’s been poured into Yeah Baby makes it a special atmosphere because it exposes people to rich authenticity that’s deeply rooted in Colorado, while at the same time, infuses a forward-thinking, creative approach that lends a subtle preview of where Denver is heading. I haven’t seen anything else in Denver quite like Tea @ 5 and London Fog @ 9. Come join us Thursday night!”

Yeah Baby is a six-month pop-up bar that includes rotating art galleries, cozy living room-style seating areas furnished by RE HOME., offering high-end furniture and home decor with a Colorado feel, all available for purchase within Yeah Baby. To kickoff opening weekend, Yeah Baby will feature On the Record, an art show in collaboration with Spectra Art Gallery, a female-owned art space located on South Broadway.

Hanson has enlisted Josh Sampson to take on the role as “Creative Architect” at Yeah Baby. Sampson’s extensive nightlife management experience in Brooklyn, New York and deep event roots in RiNo helps bring the magic to Yeah Baby. Sampson is joined by Joey Barnwell, a creative operations manager and wine grower from Sonoma County, California.

Lance hired me to take his sustainable brand to new levels so I decided to create a unique destination that honors our biodynamic philosophies and creativity,” said Josh Sampson. “Together we’re testing the boundaries of what people think is possible in this neighborhood and in Denver. To see Yeah Baby transform from a daring concept into reality is something we’re really proud of and can’t wait to share with the community.”

“Everything at Yeah Baby is art, from the furniture to the cocktails,” said Joseph Barnwell, Yeah Baby Operations Manager. “Our commitment to community building, along with our passion for irresistible cocktails and a good time, is clear as soon as you walk in the door.”

About CapRock®

CapRock Organic Gin is among the best spirits produced in Colorado. CapRock is made by Lance Hanson at Jack Rabbit Hill in Hotchkiss, Colorado, a diversified biodynamic farm that also grows grapes and makes JRH Farm Wines and New Avalon Grower Ciders. CapRock Gin uses a blend of whole fresh or dried fruits, seeds, roots and flowers including lavender, pink rosebuds and citrus to create a unique flavor in its spirit while staying true to the traditional gin notes. The name CapRock is a reference to the water used in the spirits, which comes from a location twenty miles away from the distillery near the caprock formations on Grand Mesa. CapRock Gin is the winner of many national awards and Lance, a  James Beard Foundation semifinalist, is featured in the upcoming tasteMakers television series debuting in mid-October on public television stations nationwide.
